Invisible nexus – Art and moving images from Trondheim to Ramallah

Welcome to an evening of short film- and video screenings with works from artists based in the cities of Trondheim and Ramallah.

For those who are not aware, Trondheim (Norway's third largest city, located in the center of the elongated country) and Ramallah share a strong bond and are in fact officially known as „friend cities“, aiming to create and maintain cultural ties with each other. The organisers of this event have been trying to make this happen ever since 2020, but the road to Ramallah has been paved with many obstacles. However, despite a global pandemic, an ongoing occupation and vast geographical distances, once a connection has been established through hearts, minds or even wires, there really is no way to erase it. We are therefore very happy to invite you to this night of artworks and live talks with our favourite local artists, where we explore connections and navigations against all odds.

Entrance is free and refreshments will be served on the house.
